Smitfraud Removal Guide

i recently downloaded some freeware (*.exe) and what do yu know, this lovely virus.
I haven’t installed it or signed up, but i have the common symptom of “every folder i open, there’s the pop up, which opens the internet site”
I’ve tried smitfraud, antivir, norton, malwarebytes’, and a few other IE AntiVirus aimed removers.
But it’s still here!
Most of these programs are searching for the exe file, which i don’t have as i have personally checked in the regedit.
registry’s, host have been cleaned, etc..
Does anyone have experience with removing this properly?

I check out same websites every day, yahoo, neopets, webshots and deviantart.But spybot search&destroy finds smitfraud c toolbar every day.I keep deleting and spybot always says its gone but it keeps coming back..

this is wat the guy posted on my other question to remove virusprotectpro.
it worked but then a popup came up from mcafee that said it was a potencially unwanted program so i deleted it.
but i removed virusprotectpro with it so i think its a good program.

okay, iv tried malware bytes, iv tried smitfraud, iv tried spybot. none of them worked, and i have no more money to spend. can anyone please tell me a software that actually works and is free?
I tried these software in safe mode and nothing happened, i tried them in normal mode and nothing happened.
i am at the end of my wits, please help me get this horrid virus out of my computer!!!

My computer is infected with smitfraud.c spyware, it was detected by spybot search and destroy, but this malware keeps coming back.
Anyone know best way (or tool) to remove this nasty malware?

I have previously removed brave sentry from my computer using smitfraud but it still stayed on my start menu.Now its trying to reinstall itself again or sumthin thru system restore.Help would really be appreciated

but it´s still not finished!!my comp.is running extremely slow and I can´t work on it during the scan. It will also freeze at times. Is this normal?It has found 35 problems so far?and I still get thoses annoying pop up notices recommending their product in order to clean my comp.How can I destroy those msgs? After the scan, will my comp.continue to run real slow? How can I make it run faster, the way it was before my problem?

I want to know how I can get rid of the Smitfraud-C Malware from my computer. particularly the C:\WINDOWS\system32\ldcore.dll
Everytime I delete the file, a new file automatically is created.
i’ve used SpyBot and registry mechanic to attack this problem, but to no avail. Please help.

A pop-up called Spyware Cyberlog-X comes up every few minutes, and it asks if you would like to download an Anti-Spyware program. I clicked cancel and nothing happened. There are no other problems, except those “pop-ups” and the spyware AGAIN asking if I would like to install “AntiSpyware Programs” when I access the internet. The internet speed is fine, but some sites are occasionally forced to exit, but maybe that is because my Firewall/Zone Alarm settings are high.
What can I do to get rid of this, and what trusted progams could I use?
