What Is Wrong With My Computer – Virus/spyware Related?
I downloaded a Smitfraud virus a couple of days ago. It installed popups all over my laptop, slowed it down, ect..
1st time I run McAffee. Did not remove Smitfraud virus.
2nd time, run SpyBot – Removes all spyware except Smitfraud.
3rd time – I Dl’ed a good free Smitware removal software. Run my computer in safe mode, and it confirms it to be removed. I restart in safemode, run both the Smitfraud removal program and spybot and both confirm everything is removed.
Now, I reboot, start laptop normally. Windows boots, and when it looks like it’s goin to show the desktop I get a blue background color, and a DOS box that pops up all over my screen everywhere. Disappears and reappears and the C:\windows\system32\ is within this box as well.
My pc now only works in safe mode. Did I remove something my computer needs, or is the virus still in my pc?

Try this to backup you PC to another device and then reinstall windows from your system diskshttp://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-v…
Also, in the future it isn’t a bad idea to make your computer into a dual boot Windows/Ubuntu for easy backup, Plus you can avoid viruses/spyware by using Ubuntu to connect to the Internet.. If you have less than 384mb, try Xubuntu, less than 192mb try PCLinux TinyMe or Vector Linux.

To remove smitfraud I run the following:http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t…http://www.superantispyware.com/
Because smitfraud sometimes comes with a rogue I might run:http://www.download.com/Malwarebytes-Ant…
For me to help you more I need to know what good free Smitware removal software you used.
Edit:
That’s a safe program run Superantispyware & malwarebytes (links above), then run ccleaner (cleaner & registry), then download & run (run it a few times):http://www.download.com/Advanced-Windows…
Good Luck.
