Is this normal? It has found 35 problems so far?and I still get thoses annoying pop up notices recommending their product in order to clean my comp. How can I destroy those msgs? After the scan, will my comp.continue to run real slow? How can I make it run faster, the way it was before my problem?

Depending on your present requirement… i recomend you to use an online scan to get back your pc to normal state then u r free to take suggestions from the concerned people here.
The tools suggested here may be helpful to prevent spyware or any infection to enter ur pc but since u r already infected then its too difficult for most of the security softwares to clean u properly.
Important:
spybot search and distroy or AdAware may be a good security tools but these are not at all good for on-demand scanning.
And remember todays virus creators know which tools most of us use to scan so popular scan engines are the prime targets of these virus creators.. they creat milicious code keeping in mind the way these popular tools work.
so my best suggestion for future is:
1) keep virus creators guessing about ur pc security arrangenet.
2) use small security tools and scan engines not so popular.
For now Use an online scan
I suggest you to use Trend Micro online scan which is the only online scan which can not only detect but also has option to remove the infection.
you must have java runtime environment installed on your pc and internet explorer to open the scan.http://housecall60.trendmicro.com/en/sta…
Good luck buddy
later if u want then i will tell you what security u must use in future.

Unfortunately, what you downloaded and started running is itself spyware. You won’t get it to stop unless you forcibly stop it. So, stop the computer. Restart the computer. Go into the Control Panel and uninstall the mess. Restart the computer. Go online and get SuperAntiSpyware, a free download, and guaranteed to find and help you remove ALL spyware. I use this weekly, keeping it updated with the latest spyware definitions. Run a full scan with this and remove everything it finds. It may take up to an hour, depending on the size of your hard drive and how much you have on it.
The first answer had a lot of good suggestions. You must have antivirus, if you get on the internet or receive email. Avast is one of the best – I’ve used it successfully for 4+ years without a virus getting past it.
If you have Windows XP, you need to run Disk Cleanup. Click on Start, Programs, Accessories, System Tools and Disk Cleanup. Remove everything it finds. You may be astonished at the junk that has collected on your computer.
Then get Auslogics Disk Defragger. it’s free, it’s the best, it’s more than twice as fast as Windows defragger and a lot better.
Sooooo, here you are:http://www.superantispyware.com/http://www.avast.com/eng/avast_4_home.ht…http://www.auslogics.com/disk-defrag/ind…

You have been snooked. Many antispyware programs are in fact spyware.
Keep in mind that everyone of these things is either free of charge or open source. That also means that the updates are free. Running the software with out the updates is the same as not running it at all. In addition to anti-virus software, you should also have anti-spyware software.
You should use more than one anti-spyware package because there is no one spyware package that will detect everything. Each one will pick up things that the others miss. Part of this is based on what gets submitted to the people who make the software which in turn is based on what the users encounter. There are so many that its hard to create a comprehensive list of everything out there that spies on you.
When you’re done, be sure to go to Windows Update and apply ALL of the patches. Don’t just run the “Express” updates. Run “Custom” and pick all of the software that’s available to you. It make take several times before you no longer have patches. Once that’s done, be sure to turn on your automatic updates. For Windows XP – http://support.microsoft.com/kb/306525. For Vista – http://www.microsoft.com/protect/compute…
Make sure that you’re not running a cracked version of Windows or other software packages. Software doesn’t get cracked for the benefit of humanity. It gets cracked because a hacker somewhere wants you run his software on your computer. That means he can use your computer to serve porn and send spam. Or capture your user names and passwords for identity theft.
